Near to MediaCityUK Manchester, The Pathways Studio has the benefit of free parking and is well served by  good motorway links as well as bus and Metrolink services. 

This new centre is designed to be inclusive and accessible. We welcome people of all gender expressions, sexual orientations, body types, disabilities, creeds, ethnic and racial backgrounds, class/socio-economic backgrounds and ages (over 18).

Directions By Car

If you are coming into Manchester via the M602 exit left at the junction and take the 4th exit onto Eccles New Road.  Then follow the directions in the last paragraph in this section.

If you are coming from Central Manchester then come along Regent Road (A57) and take the exit left at the traffic lights just before the start of the M602 and then the 2nd turning left on the roundabout.  This will take you into Eccles New Road and then follow the instructions in the paragraph below in this section.

Continue past two parades of shops {the last shop is Bobby the Barbers), and then turn left onto West Ashton Street.  Go down West Ashton Street and take the first left into Lord Byron Square through a couple of large open gates.   Carry on and then turn right after IDC.  Take the first left turn at the building with the large number 7 on it.  Pathways Studio is next door to it.

You will see a banner for Sacred Light Events outside.   Parking is available on the estate and in designated areas on West Ashton Street.

Directions By Tram/Metrolink

The nearest tram stop is Langworthy which is on the Eccles line (this line runs from Manchester Piccadilly).  When you get to Langworthy, walk up Eccles New Road past the nearby traffic lights at the junction of  Langworthy Road and Eccles New Road (away from Eccles and in the direction of Manchester).

Then past a parade of shops (including Harveys, LS Newsagents, Crystal Lounge and Broadway Garden Hydroponics) on your right until just before you get to a second set of shops and turn right just before them onto West Ashton Street.  At these shops you will see Bobby the Barbers and virtually opposite a pedestrian access point to the complex and then go down West Ashton Street and take the first left into Lord Byron Square through a couple of large open gates.   Carry on and then turn right after IDC.  

Take the first left turn at the building with the large number 7 on it.  Pathways Studio is next door to it.   You will see a banner for Sacred Light Events outside.

Directions By Bus

Buses no 27, 50, 33 and 63 stop around 8 minutes away from the venue.

No 50 – East Didsbury – Salford Quays bus  – Leave the bus at Langworthy Stop B.  See directions for Metrolink. 
No 27  Swinton – Manchester City Centre bus
No 33 Wigan – Manchester City Centre bus – No 33 stops at Piccadilly Gardens (10 minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station) to Wigan.   
No 63 Brookhouse – Manchester City Centre bus

If coming from the direction of Manchester city centre,  alight at the Thurlow Street stop just before Thurlow Street and in front of the Army Reserve Centre on Eccles New Road.  Continue in the same direction as the bus keeping the Army Reserve Centre on your left.  Follow the directions below.

If coming towards the direction to Manchester city centre, alight at the Thurlow Street stop just opposite Thurlow Street on Eccles New Road.  Cross the road so the Army Reserve Centre is on your left and then follow the below directions:

Cross Thurlow Street, going past the building surrounded by scaffolding and the full parade of shops which include Mario Pizza, Miami Pizza and Bobby the Barber.  Continue past ADI Global Distribution, the red building and then immediately turn left on its corner to West Ashton Street.    Go down West Ashton Street and take the first left onto Lord Byron Square through a couple of large open gates.   Carry on walking and then turn right after IDC.  Take the first left turn at the building with the large number 7 on it.  Pathways Studio is next door to it.   You will see a banner for Sacred Light Events outside.

Directions By Air

Manchester Airport is approximately 20 minutes drive from Pathways Studio by car.

By Taxi – Taking a taxi should cost around £20-25 depending on shopping around.  If you want us to assist you by booking a taxi on your behalf then please let us know.

By Tram  The best alternative way to get from Manchester Airport is by the tram which you can get from Manchester Airport.  The tram goes from Manchester Airport to Manchester City Centre.   The most direct route is to change at Cornbrook and get the next tram going to Eccles.   Once you are on the tram, please follow the DIRECTIONS BY TRAM section.    The current cost of this option in May 2018 is one-way £4.40, day return £4.60 and weekend return £6.20.   Please ensure that you check current prices before you travel.   You should allow a minimum of one and a half hours for the journey from the airport to the centre.
